What is the reason for hiring a badminton coach?
As is well known, ST Badminton Academy will never hire any assistant badminton coach or expand its business. This decision is based on recent feedback from many parents, as too many children have been unable to join our badminton training. Some parents have waited more than two years to enroll their kids in our classes, which is very unproductive and wastes their children’s precious childhood time.
What type of badminton coach we are hiring?
We have decided to hire an experienced badminton coach who possesses deep knowledge of badminton, especially in the foundation. This is in response to the feedback from many parents about the unavailability of our badminton training classes, particularly for kids. We have seen some parents waiting for more than 2 years to join us, which is unproductive and wastes the children’s precious childhood time. Our aim is to help more students learn proper badminton foundations and boost their results in a short period of time.
Is the badminton coach having freestyle to coach my kids?
No, all badminton training will still be fully monitored by our badminton coach. Additionally, if anything is found to be incorrect, such as if the coach displays poor character or attitude, or teaches without following our training performance schedule, we will take immediate action. As always, we will not allow any mistakes during badminton coaching, particularly for kids’ beginner training. Once again, we prioritize the safety of all kids and ensuring they learn the right techniques.
Any changes to the badminton classes, for example, class sizes, exams, and training rules?
All badminton class sizes, rules, and regulations will still be strictly followed as usual, and no changes will be made. We hope to find an experienced badminton coach who shares our vision of ensuring that all kids learn the professional badminton foundation, which will guide them towards a better future in their badminton career.

ST Badminton Academy is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Chief Badminton Coach to lead private and group badminton lessons. The coach will be responsible for developing and implementing the latest skill sets within our Standard Skill Procedure (SSP) system, and will collaborate with our head badminton coach.
Benefits: In these badminton coach jobs, you may be eligible for bonuses and salary increases based on the results of our students’ improvement. Our head coach is not a person who is focused on salary alone. If you have coaching experience but lack qualifications, you may also be sponsored for coaching certification.
Coaching Duties:
– Conduct private and group badminton coaching for kids.
– Create effective “results” lesson plans for private lessons and group lessons.
– Observe and analyze the improvement of skills during lessons and tournaments.
– Prepare students for competitions, such as the National Games, CC competitions, ActiveSG, Alpha, and CSC. This includes registering students for competitions and guiding them during matches.
– Assist students in polishing every skill set according to the training schedule.
– Provide advice to students on their progress and improvement during training and quarterly exams.
– Provide feedback to our head badminton coach regarding the progress of students and/or parents’ updates on improvement.
Requirements:
5 – 8 years of National and International competition experience in badminton
Basic Badminton Coaching Certificate
Deep knowledge of skill sets, and strategies in badminton
Punctual, good character and attitude
5 years above of professional way badminton coaching experience in the badminton industry
Good communication skills

ST Badminton Academy is currently seeking a part-time social media assistant to help expand our online presence and promote proper professional badminton skills. The social media assistant will be responsible for managing all of ST Badminton Academy’s official channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. In addition to developing content and maintaining a consistent academy voice across all platforms, the social media assistant will also collaborate with our badminton coach to identify new programs and improve our current social media platforms.
Benefits: Although this is a part-time position, you may still be eligible for bonuses and salary increases based on your ability to influence more people to understand proper badminton training instead of casual training, helping to improve the community. Regarding working hours, you have flexibility to complete the task at any time as long as it is finished within the deadline. For any other needs, you may request a new laptop or any necessary programs or software to help you in your work. If you are good at marketing but lack qualifications, we may also sponsor you for a digital marketing course to enhance your career if necessary.
Social Media Duties:
– Fully understand the marketing needs of advertisers and communicate how ST Badminton Academy can achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals.
– Identify and pitch additional opportunities that align with the community growth objectives in the badminton industry, and scale them accordingly.
– Critical thinking, curiosity towards online advertising, and a passion for truth rather than just a business mindset are essential.
– A track record of servicing and growing top-tier badminton communities in Singapore
– Experience in day-to-day digital and social media campaign management
– Strong interpersonal skills to interact with parents and respond to inquiries on social media accounts
– Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
