Why This Course Matters for Malaysian Coaches

Elevating Coaching Standards with Institut Sukan Negara Malaysia

This Sport Science Level 1 course, organised by ISN and AKK, is crucial for standardising coaching education Malaysia. It directly improves athlete safety and allows for more strategic training planning.

To be honest, in Malaysia many courses do not really have the licence or the standard to teach every student properly. But in this course, every instructor put real effort into explaining the importance of Sport Science, and they guided us patiently so we could truly understand. It was not the old traditional style that makes you feel sleepy. Every lecturer carried their responsibility, and they are genuinely experienced people. Even when time was tight, they still put in the effort to teach us well. They did not do things “anyhow”; you know, in Malaysia last time too many coaches just did things anyhow. That is why I strongly recommend taking this Sport Science course. It is important for every coach because it helps us create a better future for our own students. I really hope everyone will support ISN and join this course to learn more. In the future, whether we are coaching or doing anything else, the quality of the next generation will be better, and it will benefit Malaysia as a whole. ISN is putting in the effort, so we should be grateful to teachers like these.

This impactful Sport Science Level 1 course is a testament to the commitment of Institut Sukan Negara Malaysia and Akademi Kejurulatihan Kebangsaan to professional coaching development, particularly beneficial for coaches in Seremban and the wider Malaysian sports community.
