Our Badminton Training Method
Our badminton training method is combined with all 13 years of coaching experience, to keep exploring and figuring out the best way to bring out the best result for students in foundation development, bringing them from a beginner stage to national players level.
Badminton Training Method 1
Foundation Development
Our badminton coach places a strong emphasis on proper footwork, as it is a critical component of building a solid foundation in badminton. He is diligent in his monitoring of his students to ensure that they are executing proper technique and form in their footwork.
Badminton Training Method 2
Foundation Development
The proper technique of swinging a racket is an important aspect in badminton, and our coach takes this very seriously. With his extensive experience, he can discern even the slightest discrepancy between a professional and incorrect swing, making sure that each student’s technique is refined to perfection.
Badminton Training Method 3
Technology + Foundation Development
In 2015, we introduced shuttlecock machines to our training regimen, and with the passage of time, we have come to appreciate the value of technology when utilized appropriately. Our students have demonstrated accelerated improvement in their training as a result of utilizing these machines.
Badminton Training Method 4
Technique + Agility
Developing speed and skill, while simultaneously achieving consistency, is a challenging training endeavor. The student we are referring to is currently a national player, and their inclusion in the national team is a result of their dedicated and rigorous training in the past.
Badminton Training Method 5
Technology + Technique
Our training class emphasizes the importance of situational awareness and the ability to make strategic shots based on court conditions. Rather than simply focusing on developing raw smashing ability, we prioritize a holistic approach that prioritizes both mental acuity and technical skill in our students.
Badminton Training Method 6
Technology + Foundation
In the process of developing our student’s footwork, we aim to enhance their speed, agility, and stability. To achieve these goals, we leverage technology to optimize their training and help them achieve greater heights in their performance.
Badminton Training Method 7
Sparring + Skills
Sparring can prove to be a valuable training tool for students at more advanced levels, though it may not be suitable for beginners. Our experienced coaching team is adept at tailoring our training schedules to meet the unique needs and skill levels of each of our students.
Badminton Training Method 8
Skills + Technique
Combining skill training with technique training is typically reserved for players who have achieved a high beginner level or above. This approach is primarily geared towards promoting consistency and minimizing errors.
Badminton Training Method 9
Consistency + Cross Training
Achieving consistency in every shot is an important aspect of a player’s performance, as even the slightest error can prove costly. This is especially true for our students who have begun participating in competitions. To ensure that our students are making progress towards their goals, our coaching team closely monitors their training regimen.
Badminton Training Method 10
Speed Agility + Power Training
Our training methodology prioritizes the development of our students’ mental acuity and technical skill, enabling them to balance speed and power with consistency. We place a premium on quality instruction, avoiding the blind teaching of full-power smashes which can lead to mistakes and prove unproductive in the long run.
