Namun, kejurulatihan badminton dewasa bukan tentang melompat tinggi atau bermain laju semata-mata. Ia tentang bermain dengan bijak. Anda mungkin mempunyai smash yang kuat tetapi lemah pada backhand, atau sakit pergelangan tangan selepas bermain. Ketakutan terhadap sakit lutut, terseliuh buku lali, atau kecederaan bahu adalah sangat nyata. Di ST Badminton Academy, keselamatan adalah keutamaan kami. Kami tidak menjalankan sesi ala &#8220;kem tentera&#8221; di mana anda berlari sehingga muntah. Kami bermula dengan 15 minit pemanasan badan dinamik dan latihan kaki (agility ladder, shadow footwork) untuk mengaktifkan otot anda. Kemudian, kami fokus pada satu kemahiran khusus untuk hari tersebut, seperti pukulan jauh (clear) backhand atau mengangkat bola di jaring (net lifting). Kami memecahkan kemahiran tersebut kepada latihan suapan statik dahulu, kemudian suapan bergerak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separuh kedua kelas melibatkan latih tubi kombinasi yang menggabungkan pukulan (contohnya, smash diikuti net kill). Akhir sekali, kami sering menamatkan sesi dengan permainan taktikal atau latihan fizikal khusus (teras dan kaki) yang sesuai untuk orang dewasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kelas dihadkan kepada kumpulan kecil atau &#8216;1-to-1&#8217; supaya jurulatih boleh membetulkan kesilapan individu anda. Anda akan berpeluh, tetapi anda juga akan belajar.
