Anda mungkin cergas, tetapi sukar menjana kuasa dari gelanggang belakang (&#8216;back court&#8217;), atau pertahanan anda terasa lambat. Realitinya, permainan sosial hanya mengukuhkan tabiat sedia ada sama ada baik atau buruk. Walaupun kecergasan adalah sebahagian daripada badminton, kelas dewasa kami di Cheras memfokuskan kepada <strong>kecekapan (efficiency)<\/strong>. Kami ajar anda cara meliputi gelanggang dengan langkah yang lebih sedikit, bukan sekadar berlari laju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kami menekankan &#8220;ritma&#8221; dan &#8220;pemulihan&#8221; (recovery). Selalunya, kecederaan ini bukan disebabkan oleh faktor usia, tetapi teknik yang salah. Melakukan &#8216;smash&#8217; hanya dengan kekuatan lengan (tanpa rotasi badan) akan menyakitkan bahu. Meluru ke hadapan (lunging) dengan lutut melepasi jari kaki akan merosakkan sendi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jurulatih badminton dewasa kami di Cheras mengutamakan <strong>biomekanik dan keselamatan<\/strong>. Kami mengajar anda cara menyerap impak ketika mendarat dan cara menjana kuasa menggunakan otot teras (core), mengurangkan tekanan pada sendi-sendi kecil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kami juga menekankan rutin memanaskan badan yang sesuai untuk orang bekerja, yang mungkin mempunyai otot yang tegang akibat duduk di pejabat seharian di Cheras atau pusat bandar KL. Kami mempunyai pelajar berumur 30-an, 40-an, malah 50-an yang menyertai kelas dewasa kami di Cheras. Ada yang merupakan pemula (beginner) yang tidak pernah memegang raket; ada juga yang kembali aktif bersukan selepas 10 tahun berhenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Latihan kami dikelompokkan mengikut kebolehan, bukan sekadar umur. Jika anda seorang pemula, kami mulakan dengan koordinasi mata-tangan dan pukulan asas. Jika anda pemain sosial berpengalaman dari Taman Yulek atau Balakong, kami fokus pada kesedaran taktikal dan konsistensi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matlamatnya adalah kemajuan peribadi. Anda tidak bertanding dengan remaja 18 tahun; anda bertanding untuk menjadi lebih baik dari diri anda yang semalam. Kami bermula dengan pemanasan badan dinamik untuk melonggarkan sendi yang kaku. Kemudian, kami beralih ke <strong>Latihan Teknikal<\/strong>: membetulkan &#8216;grip&#8217;, latihan pukulan jaring (net), atau memperkemas teknik smash. Ini diikuti dengan <strong>Latih Tubi Gerak Kaki (Footwork)<\/strong> untuk membina ketangkasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separuh masa kedua selalunya melibatkan <strong>Latih Tubi Multi-Shuttle<\/strong> (feeder) untuk meningkatkan konsistensi dan masa reaksi.
