Tangan mereka gemetar, pikiran kosong, atau menyerah setelah satu atau dua kesalahan. Dengan kebiasaan mental sederhana dan dukungan orang dewasa, banyak dari mereka belajar untuk lebih tenang dan berjuang hingga poin terakhir. Ini hanyalah keterampilan untuk tetap cukup tenang agar bisa menggunakan teknik bulutangkis di bawah tekanan. Ini melibatkan tetap hadir poin demi poin alih-alih mengkhawatirkan skor akhir, dan terus berusaha sebaik mungkin bahkan setelah melakukan kesalahan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Banyak orang tua di Kuala Lumpur berpikir kekuatan mental adalah bawaan lahir. Padahal, itu adalah serangkaian kebiasaan. Sama seperti pergerakan kaki, ketahanan mental dipelajari melalui latihan. Di ST Badminton Academy, kami mengajar junior untuk reset setelah setiap reli, menggunakan pernapasan untuk menenangkan saraf, dan fokus pada usaha bukan hanya kemenangan. Ini terjadi karena lingkungan latihan aman, sementara kompetisi membawa ketakutan akan penilaian. Junior sering khawatir mengecewakan orang tua, pelatih, atau teman mereka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tanda umum termasuk bermain terlalu hati-hati (tidak memukul bebas), marah atau menangis setelah satu kesalahan, atau menyerah saat skor tertinggal. Beberapa terlalu memikirkan setiap pukulan. Ini berarti hanya memikirkan reli saat ini. Kami mengajar pemain untuk melupakan kesalahan sebelumnya dan tidak khawatir tentang skor akhir. Rutinitas sederhana membantu ini: tarik napas dalam, betulkan senar raket, atau lap keringat dengan handuk antar poin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menggunakan &#8220;kata reset&#8221; dalam hati seperti &#8220;Poin Berikutnya&#8221; membantu menjernihkan pikiran. Bahkan pemain nasional pun melakukannya. Kami mengajar junior untuk menerima kesalahan dengan tenang alih-alih menunjukkan kemarahan atau kekecewaan. Melempar raket atau menghentakkan kaki hanya membantu lawan merasa percaya diri. Sebaliknya, rutinitasnya harus: terima, bernapas, pikirkan apa yang harus diubah, dan lanjutkan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bicara pada diri sendiri itu krusial. Pikiran tidak membantu seperti &#8220;Saya selalu kalah&#8221; menghancurkan kepercayaan diri. Ketika pemain junior tahu pergerakan kaki mereka solid dan mereka telah melatih pukulan ribuan kali, kepercayaan diri muncul alami. Persiapan yang tepat mencakup cukup latihan tanding, tidur nyenyak, dan nutrisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rutinitas pra-pertandingan juga vital. Pemanasan sederhana, peregangan, dan pukulan dasar membantu pemain dari area seperti Danau Kota dan Air Panas merasa nyaman di aula turnamen yang asing.
